UKCA and CE Marking of pressure equipment (AVPE2)

The Course

This 2-day course covers requirements of the EU Pressure Equipment Directive and the UK Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations, equipment categorisation, different modules and associated conformity assessments, EHRs and technical documentation required to prove conformity and understand CE/UKCA marking.

The training will give you an understanding of applicable legislation and how to design compliant products, apply regulation knowledge to your products and highlight actions you may need to take to make equipment safe.

Who is it for?

Machine manufacturers, facilities managers, technical engineering managers, production managers, safety managers, designers and anyone else who is responsible for managing equipment under the Pressure Equipment Directive.

How is it delivered?

Each day consists of presentations, worked examples and interactive participation with question-and-answer sessions. The day will run from 09.00 to 16.30, with breaks for refreshments and lunch. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
