The Course

This 1-day course covers the application of the EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive and the UK Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations to machinery.

Why should you attend?

All manufacturers of electrical equipment have an obligation to ensure that it is electromagnetically compatible with other equipment with which it is likely to have to co-exist. This training offers an overview of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive and UK Regulations and an explanation of the issues that affect compatibility. The course covers the requirements of the Directive and Regulations and how to comply with them and gives examples of the good engineering practice that should be used. This course will help you to apply the Directive and UK regulations effectively.

Importers of machinery, machinery designers, purchasers, electrical engineers, control engineers, project managers, machine and control system designers, safety or process engineers.

How is it delivered?

The course consists of 1 day of presentations, worked examples and interactive participation with question-and-answer sessions. The day will run from 09.00 to 16.30, with breaks for refreshments and lunch. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
