As a UK Approved Body, amtri veritas may consider applications from manufacturers who hold an EC Type-certificate with an EU Notified Body and who wish to gain a UKCA Type-Examination certificate based on an existing evaluation. We are pleased to be working in partnership with a number of leading EU Notified Bodies to assist their clients with this certification process.

Both the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 as amended have a limitation to the duration of type-examination certificates of 5 years and offer an option of review of validity.

As a holder of type certification, there is a requirement to inform your Approved and Notified body of any changes that are made to type.
