UKCA Type Examination for machinery placed on the UK market

UKCA marking of products became optional from 1st January 2021 and is mandatory from 1st January 2025.

Applications for dual EC and UKCA Type-examinations

We offer dual certification for both UKCA marking and CE marking through our sister company kuiper certificering. Download an application form for dual type examination.

UKCA certification based on an EC Type certificate issued by an EU Notified Body

As a UK Approved Body, amtri veritas may consider applications from manufacturers who hold an EC Type-certificate with an EU Notified Body and who wish to gain a UKCA Type-Examination certificate based on an existing evaluation. We are pleased to be working in partnership with a number of leading EU Notified Bodies to assist their clients with this certification process.
