Course Machinery Directive (AVMD2)
      2 day training course covering the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
      and CE marking requirements
Why Attend
All machinery suppliers must ensure machinery is safe and CE marked: this means it needs to comply with all relevant directives - specifically the Machinery Directive.
This training will deal in detail with CE marking obligations and the requirements of the Machinery Directive. The training will take you through performing risk assessments, the Essential Health and Safety Requirements, how to compile a technical file and general CE marking requirements. At the end of this course you will have a good understanding of what your company’s obligations are to comply with CE marking regulations.

      This 1-day course covers the requirements and application of risk
      assessment, primarily for machinery and work equipment.
Why Attend
Risk assessment forms a mandatory part of the Machinery Directive as well as being a requirement under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Act.This training offers a detailed methodology of risk assessment. It will look at hazard identification and risk evaluation and methods for recording, reviewing and maintaining assessments. You will be supplied with a template for carrying out your own risk assessments. At the end of this course you will be able to carry out risk assessments of your equipment.

This 3-day training course covers control system safety and

Lifting equipment (AVLE1)
      This 1-day training course covers the application of the Machinery
      Directive (and UK Supply of Machinery Safety Regulations) to lifting
      equipment. It also introduces manfacturers to their users
      responsibilities under Lifting Operations and Lifting
      Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
Why Attend
Manufacturers of lifting equipment have an obligation to ensure that their products are safe to use and compliant with all relevant product legislation. All employers have an obligation to ensure all lifting equipment supplied to their employees is safe to use and is being used safely. This training offers an overview of the regulations that apply to manufacturers of lifting equipment and how compliance can be achieved.
