New Machinery Directive

We would like to inform you that the current EC Machinery Directive 98/37/EC is to be replaced by the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC which will come into force from 29 th December 2009.

There are some changes and additional requirements in the new Machinery Directive compared with the currently one, for example, market surveillance, more emphasis on risk assessment and the quality system for design and building of machinery.
